Activity

The Activity page lets you see everything that has happened across your Kscope workspace -- every configuration change, login, and system event in one place.

Activity Summary

Four cards at the top give you a quick snapshot of your workspace activity. Use the time range selector to choose a period (1 week, 1 month, 6 months, or custom):

  • Total Events -- How many events were recorded
  • Failed Authorizations -- How many access attempts were denied
  • Config Changes -- How many configurations were modified
  • Active Users -- How many team members were active

Browsing Events

The activity table shows every recorded event. Each row includes:

  • When it happened
  • Who did it (name and email)
  • What they did (event type and summary)
  • What was affected (resource type and ID)
  • Whether it succeeded (Success, Warning, or Failure)
  • Where the request came from (IP address)

Click any column header to sort the table.

Finding Specific Events

Use the filters at the top to narrow down what you see:

  • Date Range -- Pick a preset range or choose custom dates
  • Actor -- Select one or more team members
  • Event Type -- Filter by category (Authentication, Blueprints, Insight Rules, Access Control, Reports, Users, or SLA)
  • Status -- Show only successes, warnings, or failures

You can also use the search bar to find events by keyword. All filters work together and can be cleared with one click.

Viewing Event Details

Click any row to open a detail panel with the full story:

  • Event info -- Type, status, timestamp, IP address, resource, and whether MFA was used
  • Actor info -- Name, email, and browser details
  • What changed -- A before-and-after comparison showing exactly what was modified, displayed as formatted JSON
  • Raw data -- The complete event record for troubleshooting

Exporting

Click the export icon in the toolbar to download your activity data as a CSV file. The export uses your current filters, so you get exactly what you see. You will receive an email with the file once it is ready.
